Birmingham Alabama started from just a farmland and developed into a bustling city that offers every tourist and businessman the opportunity for both business and leisure. The rapid development of Birmingham Alabama started in 1870 and from there; the advancement in the area never looked back.

The modern development of the area can be traced to the two railroad routes that met at the Jones Valley. Films are viewed and judged in this festival. This film festival is often help during the latter part of September.

Another noteworthy festival in the city is the Southern Heritage Festival, and this festival is an old one having started in the 1960s. This is the festival known for its music, the arts and entertainment and caters to the African-American community. The Birmingham Zoo is also a great place for your kids to enjoy the animals and other Alabama attractions!
