The Mobile Symphony is the answer if you are looking for that perfect show for an unusual date night with your beautiful wife or if you are just looking to giving the kids a taste of the finer things in life.

The Mobile Symphony offers it all and more. In 1996, the Mobile Symphony Orchestra was established with a central mission in mind, to educate and further increase the lives of the Mobile community, which it has done to a degree beyond comparison.

In addition to the scheduled season of formal shows, the Mobile Symphony also performs several informal and free shows at nearby parks; everything is designed so as many people as possible are given the opportunity to experience the melodies of these virtuosos.

The 84 piece orchestra is composed of a perfect combination of strings, brass, and woodwinds, each mixing together to form a virtual artwork of melody and rhythm. In addition to the Symphony’s scheduled season, they also are the official orchestra for the Mobile Opera and Mobile Ballet.

The orchestra travels around the community playing in a multitude of venues, from the parks, to the civic center, to their home facility the Saenger Theater of Mobile. This beautiful facility features a luxurious environment marked by extreme attention to detail within every feature. Balcony seats are available, but we suggest the floor seats as they will offer you a much more acoustically pleasing location. Since 1998 the Mobile Symphony has done incredible charity work in attempting to bring the gift of music to elementary school children in their community. Working with 11 elementary schools, violin lessons were offered to over 1,500 students. Even though a great deal has already been accomplished, the Mobile Symphony has continued its work adding more elementary schools to its list of partners, further spread the great gift of music.
